With 2009 year 2 crore more people will be eligible to vote. Having said that more youngsters with a bend of mind towards internet and information will be into voting procedure.
Internet community, newspapers and even political parties are well aware of this. And this can be corroborated with following points: -
- A lot more videos on youtube this year than what it was a year ago.
- All Political parties better web-sites these days. check out websites of BJP and Congress.
- BJP has a team of people for internet campaign.
- Even Google is in foray with 2009 Lok Sabha Elections.
So it is no longer restricted to newspapers & street campaigns. 2009 general elections are getting bigger and digital.
